High School Students in South Central Indiana are served by regional vocational/technical centers that annually train thousands of students. South Central Indiana is a national leader in K-12 enrollments in “Project Lead The Way” pre-engineering and STEM-education coursework.
Advanced Manufacturing Center of Excellence (AMCE)
The AMCE opened in 2012 via partnership with IUPUC, Purdue Polytechnic Columbus, and Ivy Tech Community College. This center offers 13 teaching laboratories, including:
