R.R. Donnelley, a Chicago-based commercial printing company, was granted tax abatement on an upcoming investment by the Seymour City Council in mid-January.

The company, which has been doing business at the Freeman Field Industrial Park for three decades, was approved for a $654,000 tax abatement for the purchase of new manufacturing and information technology equipment.

Located at 709 A Avenue East in Freeman Field, R.R. Donnelley is expected to receive the equipment between February and December of this year and will help retain its current workforce of 111 associates.
