Harrison County Welcomes $90 Million Caesars Southern Indiana Casino
Caesars Entertainment is betting big that its new land-based casino in Southern Indiana will curb any stagnation and make the venue a go-to spot in the area for hospitality.
The company opened the $90 million Caesars Southern Indiana in Elizabeth on Thursday, capping off an 18-month construction cycle. The ceremony included a procession of centurions and other characters from Roman lore and a dramatic unveiling of a large Caesar statue on the casino floor. Horseshoe Southern Indiana announced in May that it was rebranding under the new name.
