Five Shell Buildings, Five Expansions
Five neighboring south central Indiana communities have, in recent months, supported the expansions of area manufacturers through available shell/spec buildings.
While the buildings were originally built to attract new companies to the area, local economic development officials tout the importance of also supporting existing companies as well. Given the success of the previous shell buildings and the region’s continued desire to welcome new companies to the area, SCIED region officials are identifying future sites and developers to construct additional facilities.
In the meantime, more than 50 industrial buildings of various sizes and over 90 build-to-suit industrial sites within the South Central Indiana Economic Development region are available for review here.
