SCIED Board of Directors
The South Central Indiana USA Board of Directors is made up of the following distinguished individuals:
Darrell R. Voelker
President, South Central Indiana Economic Development Group
Darrell is the Director of the Harrison County ED Corp. His prior experience includes 18 years as the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce of Harrison County. His responsibilities include the management of the Economic Development Program. The ED Corp works as a partner with the Chamber and the Harrison County Tourism Commission and an administrative contract among the three organizations helps to coordinate the Economic Development efforts in the County.
Darrell sits on numerous Boards and Committees including the Regional Leadership Coalition, the Southern Seven Workforce Investment Associates, Historic Southern Indiana Board and is the current President of the Ohio River Scenic Byway of Southern Indiana. He is also the Past President of the Indiana Chamber Executives Association. In 1988/89 Darrell served as the President of the Indiana Junior Chamber of Commerce (then called Jaycees).
Darrell graduated from Bellarmine University in 1981, attended Harlaxton College in Grantham, England in 1980 and is a 1992 Graduate of the Institute for Organization Management at the University of Notre Dame.

Corey Murphy
Secretary, South Central Indiana Economic Development Group
Corey Murphy, since 2007, is the Executive Director of Economic Development Partners, which provides economic development services for the City of Madison, Town of Hanover and Jefferson County. Prior economic development experience includes the Indiana Office of Community & Rural Affaris and administrator of a local enterprise zone program.
Murphy is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Evansville.
He has successfully completed the Indiana Economic Development Course at Ball State University and is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute.
Murphy serves as a board member for the Indiana Economic Development Association and is a member of the International Economic Development Council. He resides in Hanover with his wife Nicole and two sons.

Robert Peacock
Treasurer, South Central Indiana Economic Development Group
Robert Peacock is one of the founding fathers of the Scott County Economic Development Group and served as Chairman of the Board for the newly established organization for 5 years beginning in April of 1991. He currently serves as Executive Director of the Scott County Economic Development Corporation, and is Treasurer of the South Central Industrial Development Group. He has been instrumental in the industrial and economic growth within Scott County throughout the past fifteen years.
Peacock is a past Executive Director of the Farm Service Agency for the State of Indiana, only one of five Presidential appointments within the State. He is the current Chairman of the Board for Jackson/Jennings Co-op; is active in a multitude of civic activities, and sits on numerous Boards and Committees throughout the region.
